Eddy Austin
Formerly a heavy metal/ rock-n-roll singer, Eddy has traveled through every genre in the music industry, but finally found his home in country music. Beginning with demo work in Nashville, TN in the early 2000's, it wasn't long before Eddy's voice was catching the interest of some of the "big names" in country music. One of these people was Dennis Morgan of Grand Avenue Records, www.dennismorgansongwriter.com. Together, Dennis and Eddy compiled an amazing traditional sounding CD "One Purple Heart & A Dozen Roses", which includes the remakes of Rod Stewart's "My Heart Can't Tell You No" and "I Knew You Were Waiting ( for me )", originally done by Aretha Franklin & George Micheal. Although the CD itself has the traditional country sound, the show Eddy and his band give, is anything but "traditional". Playing cover tunes from some of today's top 40's on the country music charts, along with his originals from the CD, Eddy and his band offer a high energy, "rockin" country show.
