The “Hi-Fives” originated as a vocal Doo Wop group in 1957, from Garfield, (Bergen County), New Jersey:

In 1958, the “Hi-Fives” recorded the following three records on the Decca label: “My Friend” and (flip side) “How Can I Win”, “Dorothy” and (flip side) “Just A Shoulder To Cry On”, “Lonely” and (flip side) “What’s New, What’s New?”

“Dorothy” became a number one hit and “Just A Shoulder To Cry On” became a number two hit on the charts in Honolulu, Hawaii.

In August of 2005, the “Hi-Fives” reorganized in Southern Ocean County, New Jersey with the following members: Jim Beliveau – leads, second tenor and baritone, Mike Falco – leads and baritone, Terri Castanera – leads and first tenor, and Rich Jezercak – leads and bass.

We are back together to relive the fun, the music and the memories...
