The band's influences include Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Tom Waites, and The White Stripes. They are young and passionate about their music and its presentation. Their original songs present a smooth combination of intelligent lyrics and rhythmy blues/rock reminiscent of Bob Dylan and Neil Young.
Although a young band (two years in existence), they have come a long way in a short time. The band has played the 2006 and 2007 Decatur Celebrations, which is recognized as one of the largest free street festivals in the nation. This year's line-up included Dennis DeYoung (Styx), War, The Tubes, and several other bands, including Canadian Customs. Those appearances have helped lead to numerous other bookings in Decatur and throughout central Illinois, including The Canopy Club in Champaign/Urbana. Although the members currently attend different colleges during the school year, they remain active in writing and polishing material. They are all very young (in college), which makes the maturity of their compositions and cover styles all the more impressive.
