Todd received his B.A. in speech communication from Penn State University in 1983. His GPA was 3.85, which enabled him to earn Phi Beta Kappa status in his junior year. He was a three year starting quarterback for the Nittany Lions where he was an academic All-American and led them to a 31-5 record, three New Year's Day Bowl victories and the National Championship following the 1982 season. He was the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award recipient in his senior year. Todd was a first round draft choice in the National Football League in 1983 and played for seven years…with the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Since retiring form professional football, Todd has been serving as a television commentator for football with ABC and ESPN. He also does motivational speeches, drawing on his experience for playing for Joe Paterno, his time in the NFL and his personal perspectives on living a quality life. His main topic/titles are:
