Fred Davis is a columnist and strategist for CMP Publications, the parent company of such popular computer magazines as WINDOWS, HomePC, and NetGuide. He is also the author/co-author of eleven computer books, including Cybersource, Desktop Publishing, and the Windows '95 Bible. He served as editor-in-chief of MacUser magazine, technology editor for PCWeek, and director of PC Magazine Labs.
