Schock may be best known for her songwriting credits, which include songs penned for Smokey Robinson, Johnny Mathis, Manfred Mann, The Partridge Family, Lee Greenwood, Helen Reddy, and many others. Schock was nominated for a Grammy Award for writing the Helen Reddy hit, "Ain't No Way To Treat A Lady."

In addition to her Grammy nomination, Schock twice won the Cashbox Award for Best New Female Artist, as well as a Dramalogue Award. Harriet Schock has two Gold Records and one Platinum Record to her list of credits as well.
