Maylin
French born singer-songwriter Maylin was trained as an opera singer in Strasbourg (France) with the artistic director of the Strasbourg Opera. In 1999 she moved toLos Angeles where she put together a band with Gypsy guitar player Omar Torrez, bassist Roberto Vally and percussionist David Leach. Maylin is a cross between Edith Piaf and Nina Simone, mixing 1930's French music with Blues undertones and African rhythms.
