Cityzen mesmerizes their audiences like a high energy musical roller coaster. The band is fronted by a singer in a wheelchair and backed by unique musicians drawing from genres rooted in progressive rock, funk, classical, hip-hop, and jazz. With an independently released debut album, 2 battle of the bands wins, multiple state tours, a showcase at SXSW 2011, and an unrivaled passion for making unique music, Cityzen continues to impress new ears willing to listen.

Tobias Forrest, Jeff Line, Chris Woods, Andy Bartleson, and Darek Leiner make up the most recent line-up and have been working on a set of new material that they intend to record for the bands second record. A follow up to their 2010 debut “Invisible Mental Tentacles” recorded by Robert Carranza (The Mars Volta, Beck, Bjork) and produced by Scott Hackwith (The Ramones, Iggy Pop). The new album is sure to be an evolution to their previous sound. Expect a heavier, more refined rock composition that draws the impulse to dance.
