The Royal Guardsmen
Screaming fans. Hit records. Worldwide acclaim. At the height of its illustrious career, the 1960s rock band The Royal Guardsmen achieved what most groups only dream of. The sextet from Ocala, FL rose to fame in 1966 with their single "Snoopy Vs. The Red Baron." The song reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart and remained there for 12 weeks. It went on to sell over 11 million copies worldwide and is certified multi-platinum from the R.I.A.A.

Throughout the years, The Guardsmen have continued to record and tour. They recently played to a nearly sold-out crowd at The Cannery Casino in Las Vegas, NV. Additionally, the band just released it's first-ever live album, "Beaglemania LIVE!"

Three original members remain, as well as Pat Waddell (guitarist) who replaced original member Tom Richards after he died of a brain tumor in 1979.
