Meli'sa Morgan
The New York native got her start in the music business while singing with a church choir called the Starlets of Corona where she learned the mechanics of the show stopping vocals and how to phrase a song. She cites Chaka Khan as a major influence, in 2008 she recieved the song writers award for collaberation on JAY Z's fools paradise remake and a second award for a collaberation with Mary j. Blige C.D. the Breakthrough.
