THE SHOW BAND
I was born in Detroit. Michigan September1,1955 the child of seven Children. On the east side of Detroit, Iwas influenced by my father George Asbell SR. To play the guitar. He was an musician befor I was born at the age of 16 I formed my first band, the name of the band was called the Heatwave. I was the band leader we were the first band to introduce Jamaican music to the city of Detroit. We also were sponsored by the Jamaican Tourist Board and Traveled all around the United States for three and a half years. I later formed my own band for two years and then went on to play with the late great blues singer Little Milton Campbell for a good wile, I also recoreded in the studio with Ron Banks the lead singer for the Dramatics and many others. Now living here in Columbus, Ohio. Dedicated to the Art of music.
