Currently based in Albuquerque, NM, Leyla has been performing and teaching a unique style for 22 years, traveling and performing in Europe and Middle East. In the process Leyla has developed a style comprised of Egyptian Cabaret and Lebanese elements that blend traditional and contemporary themes, rhythms and music to bring forth fresh movements and presentations. As much artist as performer and entertainer Leyla's performances reflect devotion to her art and her audience, with elements of the old, the new, the expected, the unexpected.
