There is ALWAYS music present in the Owen home. Even before they met each other, both Brad and Betty loved performing. Brad had performed in many famous Places such as the Grand Ole Opry Stage, Disney Land, Knots Berry Farm, Calgary Stampede, Lagoon, and more! Betty had likewise performed a great deal including Christmas on a Grand scale With Jim Hensen Muppets, the Hobbit, and much more. Brad, as a national clogging champion, and Betty, as a concert pianist and vocalist, put their talents together and started performing as newlyweds 20 years ago.
Born with performing in their blood the Owen children have performed with their family ever since Brook (at the age of 3) and Brittany (18 months) stole away from the babysitter during one of Mom and Dad's shows and drew a bigger crowd! The Three oldest children Brook (18), Brittany (17), and Bryan (13) especially enjoy Theater. They all have performed in many shows at the local Tuacahn professional amphitheater including Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,, Utah!, and Joy to the World (twice). Other acting credits include Wizard of Oz (Brittany and Bryan), Sunset (all three), Heubener (Bryan), and, most recently, Oklahoma! (all three). The two babies of the family are Barbara (most commonly known as Barbie, 5) and Benjamin (or Ben-man, 4). They have performed with their family since they were just a few months old proving to be an exciting addition to the show.
The Owen Family has performed all over the country from Washington to Florida and love every minute of it! They have appeared in articles in local news papers such as, The Spectrum, the Senior Sampler, and Saint George Magazine. Family Performances include KCSG Local TV Station, 2000 seat outdoor amphitheater near Zion National Park, Dickens Festival, Jubilee of Trees, Washington County Fair, Duck Creek, Peach Days, and much, much more! The Owen Family just love to spend time and perform together!
The family has recorded three music Cd's currently available both in local stores and on the Internet at www.tsbrecord.com . Each of these Cd's expresses a unique and individual style all their own.
They continue to delight audiences everywhere with their variety show which includes musical selections from their original compositions, familiar tunes, along with clogging, ballet and hip-hop to music everyone will recognize.
