Ron says, "This year I turned fifty-six. At fifty-six I finally know what I want to be. I want to be twenty-six." He has been on the banquet circuit for over fifteen years. He is one of the most active speakers in the country today. This former Milwaukee police officer got his start in comedy as entertainment director at a honeymooner's resort. He was the Wisconsin winner of the Funniest Person In America contest. In 1982, banquet bookings came more and more regularly, and in 1984, he left the hospitality industry to devote all of his time to doing comedy on the banquet circuit. His thirty minute routine of "clean humor" generates hard laughter. He's been clocked getting six laughs a minute. Knowing that everyone has to get up in front of a group now and then, Ron has a handout that tells how to write your own jokes. His talk is entitled: HUMOR IS NO LAUGHING MATTER
