Former Assistant Secretary of Defense and Chairman of the Defense Policy Board, Richard Perle is one of the most influential foreign-policy leaders in Washington. Currently a Resident Fellow, American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research, Mr. Perle is a leading authority on national security, military requirements, arms proliferation and defense, and regional conflicts. Mr. Perle writes frequently for the op-ed pages of the New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, The Daily Telegraph (London), Jerusalem Post and other publications. He appears on radio and television on matters of security and foreign policy. He is the co- author of “An End to Evil: How to Win the War on Terror” and author of “Hard Line,” a political novel.
