Matt Hanlin
The 25-year-old has been making great strides on the professional tennis circuit in 2005, and celebrated a jump of 161 places on the world rankings list in August. He was a singles finalist in China and a doubles winner in Costa Rica. He spent seven years at the world famous Nick Bollettieri Academy in Florida and was among a group of players which included Andre Agassi, Boris Becker, Anna Kournikova, Martina Hingis, Maria Sharapova and the Williams sisters. Xavier Malisse and Tommy Haas were among his regular playing partners. Matt lived in the States for 12 years, spending four of them at the University of Washington in Seattle. One of his greatest experiences as a tennis player was representing Britain at the World University Games in Beijing in 2001 and in Korea two years ago. He just missed out on a medal in Beijing, losing in the quarter-finals, and reached the last 16 in Korea. Matt's 2005 highlights include: Singles: Finalist: China; Quarter-finalist: Guatemala, Mexico. Doubles: Winner: Costa Rica; Semi-finalist: Mexico. Matt is available for public appearances, public speaking, exhibition matches, corporate events and coaching (public and private).
