In more than twenty-five years of management consulting and research, Dr. Margaret Wheatley has worked with an unusually broad range of clients: The U.S. Army, major corporations, state and district public schools, hospitals, foundations, and individuals from CEOs to assembly line workers have benefited from her expertise. For the past several years, her work has focused on organizations that want to achieve organizational coherence in the midst of chaotic environments. Her first book, the best-selling Leadership and the New Science: Learning About Organization from an Orderly Universe, was named "Best Management Book of 1992" in Industry Week. Her new book, A Simpler Way (1996), co-authored with Myron Kellner-Rogers, is also a best-seller. Wheatley heads the Berkana Institute, a non-profit educational and scientific research foundation, and is a principal of Kellner-Rogers and Wheatley. She is a frequent keynote speaker in the U.S. and internationally.
