After many years as Executive Director of the Prestonwood Pregnancy Center in Dallas, Dr. Parton is currently serving as the Manager of the Crisis Pregnancy Ministry of Focus on the Family in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Julie has a B.A. in History from Rice University in Houston, an M.Ed. degree in Guidance & Counseling from the University of North Texas and her Ph.D. in Christian Counseling from Andrew Jackson University in Birmingham.

In addition to her past position at Prestonwood, she has been a Teaching Leader for Bible Study Fellowship in Dallas and Director of Education and Wellness for the Minirth-Meier Clinic headquarters in Richardson, Texas.

Julie is definitely known as a “people person” and will use those skills effectively in communicating with your audience.

She has been married for more than 35 years to her husband, Paul, who owns and operates Trust Travel Tours, specializing in Christian group travel. Together, they have three grown daughters: Betsy, a Senior Manager for Accenture in Dallas; Paula, a teacher in Mesquite, Texas, and, like her sister Betsy, a graduate of Baylor University; and Cindy, who also lives in Mesquite and attended Ouchita Baptist University.

Julie has two ADORABLE granddaughters: Brook and Landry…who “are the light of my life! Pictures ARE available upon request!!!”
