Jeff Blatnick won the Gold Medal in the Greco-Roman Wrestling competition during the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles. But what made his victory so stunning in 1984 was the fact that just two years earlier, he had been diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease, a lymphatic cancer. Sports fans still remember the tears of joy that Blatnick shed the day he won the Gold. Today, audiences around the world are delighted and inspired by his motivational speeches. He has been named to the President's Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, is a frequent commentator for wrestling events, and is a U.S. Olympic Committee Ambassador.
