Dr. Gail Wilensky is a senior fellow at Project HOPE, an international health foundation, and chair of the Physician Payment Review Commission. She is a nationally-recognized expert on health policy and financing issues. As deputy assistant to the President for policy development in the Bush Administration, she spearheaded major efforts to reform the nation's health care and welfare systems. She was the Administration's chief spokesperson on both issues and was highly regarded by members of both political parties. Dr. Wilensky has published a book and over 90 articles on health economics and policies and has spoken to hundreds of professional, business, and consumer groups. She has been on numerous television programs, including NBC's Today, ABC's Good Morning America, CBS's Morning News, and CNN's Newsmaker Sunday.
