Author and commentator Frank Deford is a contributing editor to Vanity Fair, sports columnist for National Public Radio and ESPN, and correspondent on the new HBO magazine show, Realsport. The American Journalism Review has cited him as the nation's "Best Sportswriter." His own peers voted him "Sportswriter of the Year" six times! The Sporting News described Deford as "the most influential sports voice among members of the print media" in America. An acclaimed author, Deford has written eleven books and is at work on a twelfth.
