Dr. Terry J. van der Werff, is a Certified Management Consultant, business futurist, and professional speaker on global trends and strategic change. He has authored one book and 200 articles and made presentations on three continents. His "Strategic Thinking" column appears regularly in Washington CEO magazine.

With bachelor's and master's degrees from M.I.T. and a doctorate from Oxford, his career has embraced construction, aerospace, hospitals, universities, think tanks, and government. Dr. van der Werff held faculty appointments in seven disciplines, served for eighteen years in leadership positions as department head, dean, and executive vice president in five universities, and worked for eight years in hospitals. He has been recognized for his achievements in six versions of Who's Who and has lived in nine cities in the United States, Europe, and Africa.

Dr. van der Werff consults on strategic issues for clients in health care, high tech, higher education, nonprofits, retail, and natural resources industries, ranging in size from one person to Fortune 100 companies.
