NANCY NELSON combines years of experience in broadcast news with an equal number of years in several areas of entertainment and business. It has, among other things made her the ideal choice for scores of entertainment news assignments. Her varied background means she has met and interviewed hundreds of world leaders in dozens of fields. Nancy's acting background brought her roles in the mega hit movie "Airport" and the TV show "Amazing Stories", and her anchor/reporter assignments were honored with Emmy nominations for general assignment and entertainment reporting at KTTV in Hollywood, California.

NANCY was intrigued by performing from a very early age and started acting and elocution lessons as a child, and was performing on stage at the age of eight. She was still in high school when she got her first professional television job as interviewer and host of a popular Twin Cities teen program, and shortly after that she was offered a place in the Old Log Theater Professional acting company, where she joined such actors as Nick Nolte and Lonie Anderson. These elements were already in her background when she was named Miss Minnesota, and subsequently became second runner-up to Miss United States.

Because of her ability to speak in front of a camera with ease, NANCY has found a whole new career in the world of Infomercials and has often be seen on television within a 24-hour time frame with as many as 8 different infomercials running. She has received the award of "Best Female" in an Infomercial by NIMA, (National Infomercial Marketing Association). With intense curiosity about hundreds of subjects, it has caused NANCY to explore the background of each assignment with total tenacity, and the information gleaned from those experiences makes fascinating listening! She has often found that her explorations have led to commitment to causes. She became the Minnesota coordinator for the Fund for Animals and was a national board member for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, to name just two instances. A gregarious and outgoing person, NANCY's frequent appearances on National TV make her a familiar and welcomed speaker. Her experience as a spokesperson makes her a powerful motivator. Her worldwide assignments give her the background that fill her presentations with an exciting flair. NANCY NELSON resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota with husband and television newscaster, Bill Carlson, along with 3 dogs, and 6 cats.
