Edie Magnus has been a correspondent for CBS Evening News with Dan Rather since October 1995. Her beat on the Evening News includes the news and entertainment industries, the Internet, and other news media. Ms. Magnus joined CBS News in April 1990 as a general assignment correspondent in New York. She went on to serve as the CBS News health and medical correspondent and later, as a correspondent for the CBS primetime newsmagazine Eye to Eye. A polished and dynamic speaker, she is equally comfortable as a moderator.
