A native of Long Island, New York, Craig Mack made his debut in 1994 with the hip-hop "Project: Funk Da World," produced by Arista Records steered by the advice of Sean Combs. Rolling out the standard dancebeat funk, Mack manages to keep a good time a good time, only hinting in the shadows at black politics, and instead concentrates on the dancefloor groove.
