U.S. Presidential Candidate, Senator, author, athlete and scholar-Bill Bradley has earned a reputation for hard work, intelligence, candor, courage and vision. For thirty years he has criss-crossed America exploring its places and encouraging its people. After being raised in a small Missouri town on the banks of the Mississippi River, Senator Bradley graduated from Princeton University with honors in American History and from Oxford University, where he was a Rhodes Scholar. During his eighteen years in the Senate, Senator Bradley has worked tirelessly to promote economic growth; to foster racial healing; it rethink America's role in the world; and to protect our national heritage. Within that framework he has led on big reforms such as the North American Free Trade Agreement, GATT and the tax reform act of 1986. He is an Olympic gold medallist and three time basketball All-American at Princeton. Twice during his ten-year career with the New York Knicks he was a member of World Champion squads, and he epitomized the ultimate team player-disciplined, unselfish and smart.
