Richard Tanner Pascale is an Associate Fellow of Oxford University. He was a member of the faculty at Stanford’s Graduate School of business for 20 years and taught the most popular course in their MBA program - a course on organizational survival.

Dr Pascale has worked closely with the CEO and top management teams of many large corporations including AT&T, General Electric, The New York Times, Marriot, British Petroleum, Ciba Geigy, Intel and Morgan Guaranty Bank. He has also served as advisor to top management and architect of corporate transformation programs for several fortune 100 size companies. He has conducted research at General Motors, Ford, Chrysler, British Airways, Motorola and Sony. Dr Pascale was a White House Fellow, Special Assistant to the Secretary of Labor and Senior Staff of a White House Task Force. In the latter capacity, he participated in the reorganization of the Executive Office of the President.

In October 1991, the BBC TV dedicated a program to his work and he is also the subject of a two-hour video on Transformation.

Dr Pascale combines a rare synthesis of scholarly thinking, practical experience and the ability to connect in a direct and down-to-earth fashion. His role as advisor to the Chief Executives of several Fortune 500 companies has cast him as "quasi-member" of several top management teams. These relationships have spanned many years. In this capacity, he has had to live with the consequences of his ideas and counsel. The resultant learning adds immediacy and relevance to his message.
