Narvel Felts was one of the original Rock 'N' Roll artists in the 1950's. He became one of the major country artists of the 1970's and of all time.

Albert Narvel Felts was born November 11, 1938, in a farm house near Keiser, Arkansas, joining his parents, Albert and Lena Felts, and his sister Ogareeda.

In 1953, when he was 14, he moved with his parents to the community of Powe near Bernie, Missouri. In 1956 at the age of 17, a high school talent contest in Bernie led to Narvel becoming one of the original rockabilly recording artists, and to a lasting career. He would go on to be one of the top country artists of the 1970's. His more than 50 hit records include the top 10 hits "Drift Away", "When Your Good Love Was Mine", "Funny How Time Slips Away", "Somebody Hold Me (Until She Passes By)", "Lonely Teardrops", "Everlasting Love", and the 1975 Record of the Year, "Reconsider Me."

On April 30, 1962, Narvel married Loretta Stanfield. They were blessed with two children, a daughter Stacia and a son, Narvel "Bub" Felts, Jr. Bub grew up to become a great drummer, recording and touring the world with his dad. On September 14, 1995, life's greatest tragedy devastated the Felts family. They lost Bub in a car accident on a foggy highway near Campbell, Missouri. Bub was only 31 years old.

Narvel entered the 1990's numbered among the top country artists of all time. He has since had records reach the top 30 in America and the top 10 in Norway. Even now with the family's tragedy he continues to tour. He is in demand for both country and rock 'n' roll shows internationally. By the latter 1990's more then 200 of his recordings will have been released on CD. They continue to sell around the world. Through the years, Narvel has made many network television appearances in the United States, Canada, Great Britain, and New Zealand.
