Irene was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, in a small mining and steel mill town, known for being the home of Rolling Rock Beer. She was raised in a musical family where she developed a passion for music that led her to Old Hickory, Tennessee to find her place in the Nashville music scene as an acclaimed singer/songwriter. While in Nashville, Irene has recorded an unreleased album for MCA Records and written songs for Ricky Scaggs, Loretta Lynn, Trisha Yearwood, Dale Ann Bradley, Brother Phelps, Osborne Brothers, Rhonda Vincent, claire Lynch, The Whites, Carl Jackson, and many other foreign and independent recordings. Irene is a regular performer at the "world famous" Bluebird Cafe, and Station Inn. Irene has released her own CD "Simple Path" to critical acclaim across the US, Canada and Europe. Irene is assisted by Scott Neubert (co-producer), Claire Lynch, Darrell Scott, Kim Ritchie, Craig Fuller, Bob Mummert, Joey Click, Peter Hyrka, Viktor Krause, Aubrey Haynie, Mel Besher, Kim Patton-Johnston, Anne Collie and Nancy Hagen. Finally Irene's most recent cuts are with Alan Jacksons new "Drive" CD "Little Bluer Than That" and Trisha Yearwoods new "Inside Out" CD with "Second Chance
