Singer-Actress Bobbie Eakes joined the cast of ABC’s “All My Children” in December of 2003, creating the role of the feisty firecracker Krystal Carey. Prior to that, for fourteen years, Bobbie portrayed Macy Alexander on the CBS daytime drama “The Bold & The Beautiful,” not only one of the top series here in the United States, but also the most watched television series in the world, boasting over 450 million viewers worldwide.

However, her creative efforts have hardly been limited to the world of daytime drama. Eakes, a former Miss Georgia and finalist in the Miss America Pageant, is a certified platinum-album recording artist in Europe, and has performed in concert to sold-out audiences of thousands all over the world. She has also starred in numerous international television music specials and variety shows.

Here in the U.S., fans applauded her stunning duet with multi-platinum country artist Collin Raye, who is one of only eight country artists to have each of their first four albums reach the platinum sales milestone. The duet was entitled “Tired of Loving This Way” and is on Collin’s CD for Epic Records, “Tracks.”

On April 26, 2005, Bobbie released her debut solo CD entitled “Something Beautiful” on the Navarre Company’s BCI-Eclipse label. The CD celebrates some of the classic adult contemporary hits from Paul McCartney, James Taylor, Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison to Van Morrison, Louis Armstrong and Ray Charles. Bobbie lends her unique and passionate style to new interpretations of these songs previously made famous by male artists. She also includes two new songs that are destined to join the list of favorite contemporary standards.

She recently starred in the feature film “Charlie’s War” opposite Lynn Redgrave, Olympia Dukakis and Diane Ladd and guest-starred on ABC’s new hit comedy “Hope & Faith.” She was also nominated this year for a 2006 EMMY AWARD as lead actress.
