Matthew DiSero
Interest in magic began early when at age 16 Matthew won a local comedy competition and was hired as a regular performer at a Toronto’s dinner theater A little Night Magic, Canada’s longest running magic variety show. That experience began a career that has taken him around the world. Matthew has performed in over 20 countries for hundreds of corporations, theme parks, resorts and revue shows. Offered a once in a life time opportunity, Matthew was asked to perform for the Canadian Military at the North Pole. The pole is the most northern permanently inhabited settlement on the globe where temperatures reach as low as minus 100 degrees and 6 months of the year is shrouded in total darkness. Primarily working for corporate audiences, Matthew still appears at public events, touring with the music group the Nylons and performing on television shows in Canada and America. In 1999 he was a featured comedian at Ohio’s Great Lakes Comedy Festival and is considered a regular on the television show Comedy at Club 54, which airs in 6 countries. Recently Matthew was asked to perform for the city of Toronto’s New Years Eve celebrations for the Y2K and is often hired to perform at exclusive summer resorts across Ontario. Matthew DiSero is a resident of Toronto, though he divides his time between Canada and the United States. His talents as a comedian, magician, and comedy writer are also in demand as a consultant on commercials, ad campaigns and most recently a movie script titled Dolly. He is heavily addicted to the game of golf, anything to do with technology and is major fan of the band Skinny Puppy. He is most pleased that his friends Kelly and Darren Best are finally married after what seemed like and eternity of dating.
