The Marquees

The Marquees started out as the group Sh-Boom in 1987 in Dayton, OH. They began as a part-time group, but within three years found they needed to make the commitment to full-time. After explosive growth the first five years, the group settled into a consistent schedule of performances throughout the Midwestern, Central and Eastern United States.

With that growth, we found that there were six other groups performing under the name Sh-Boom. We certainly did not want to create any confusion, so after extensive research, The Marquees name was selected, registered and started being used in 1999. And with the name change came the addition of a live band. The rest, as they say is history!
