Show business. Comedy. The stage. These are more than words to T.J. McCormack. They are a way of life. A throw back to the great days of Hollywood, T.J. has a great reverence for those artists who came before him. Listening to, and watching comedy was T.J.'s pastime while growing up in New York. So it was no surprise to anyone when he first took to the stage at 17 embarking on his dream to become a comedian.

Over the following 13 years T.J. has performed in 48 states at venues ranging from night clubs to state fairs. He has appeared at over 350 colleges, casino-hotels in Atlantic City, Las Vegas, and Mississippi, and countless comedy clubs. Several of these engagements have been special guest billings for Paul Anka, Dana Carvey, Jeffery Osborne and Shirley Jones. Along the way there was also a stint working on the syndicated "Jon Stewart Show."

The past three years have been spent enjoying the financial purgatory of cruise ships. It was aboard a ship where T.J. met his British wife, a dancer named Andrea whom T.J. refers to as his "Perfect Angel."

A sucker for a great suit, T.J. loves to emulate his heroes Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Usually decked out with all the trimmings i.e.; his trademark cufflinks. T.J. likes to bring an air of class to the stage, while maintaining a high-energy and quite silly presence.

T.J.'s comedy is fun, reality-based material. As he likes to sat, "If I'm making it up, it's not funny!" Spot-on observations and delicious characterizations of real people highlight T.J.'s show, which is peppered with plenty of sweat and emotion. One thing is truly evident when you watch T.J. McCormack work: he loves what he does with a passion rarely seen today.
