Trey Azagthoth and his unholy cohorts have completed work on the new studio album, 'Formulas Fatal to the Flesh', and will unleash the record February 24th worldwide. The album will be the first to feature new vocalist/bassist Steve Tucker, and will be followed by a European tour, starting March 19th, 1998 in Amsterdam, Holland. Recorded at Morrisound in Florida, Trey promises us that the album will be Morbid Angel's most superlative yet. Says the man himself; "Our new vocalist/bassist is Steve Tucker from the Cincinnati-based band Ceremony. Steve is a fresh instrument for the triumuinate of the living continuum - a vessel in which the voice of Chthhulhu-Habsu-Amah Ushumgal-Anna will be heard".

The complete track listing for the album is: Heaving Earth, Prayer of Hatred, Bil Ursag, Nothing Is Not, Chambers of Dis, Disturbance in the Great Slumber, Umulamahri, Hellspawn: The Rebirth, Covenant of Death, Hymn to a Gas Giant, Invocation of the Continual One, Ascent Through the Spheres, Hymnos Rituales De Guerra, Trooper.

ENTANGLED IN CHAOS was recorded on Morbid Angel's 1996 European Tour. The album features live versions of such classics as "Immortal Rites", Day of Suffering", "Maze of Torment" and "Rapture." The album is released on JVC/Victor Entertainment Inc. in Japan and Earache Records in Europe.

In this undulating world of earthly pleasures and hellish nightmares, one equation holds true. It is as simple as it is eternal: There are those who lead, and behind them the dreary mass of followers. Since their inception ten years ago, Morbid Angel has risen to a position of leadership and never looked back. Their legacy is one of ground breaking momentum; a reflection of a thirsting imperative to conquer new territory. A mere five years before the dreaded millenium, Morbid Angel brings us DOMINATION, a recording which none will deny lives up to it's imposing title.

In 1991, came the follow-up Blessed Are The Sick, and with it the widespread realization this was no ordinary death metal act, neither in outlook nor approach. Incorporating orchestrated classical overtures into their trademark whirlwind sound, Blessed defied all standards and stereotypes. A more focused lyrical attitude also rose to the fore, revealing the band's genuine outlaw status, even in their chosen genre.

As death metal gained prominence, receiving mainstream press and even radio airplay, it was natural that major labels would take notice; and only natural, as well, that they should look to the leaders of the movement rather than the multitude of imitators lurking in the shadows. thus Morbid Angel were appointed to compose the first major label death metal album in history: Covenant. While weaker acts would have compromised unde music of such untamed intensity.

Now in 1996, ten years later, Morbid Angel are more vehement and innovative than ever. While most of their peers have fallen by the wayside, they march forward in the grand style of triumph. With the release of DOMINATION they once again set the standard. Fusing the mind-bending guitar work of Trey Azagthoth with David Vincent's signature bass and vocal invocations, the album sees Morbid Angel at their most passionate and enraged. Driven by the percussion of Pete "Commando" Sandoval, acclaimed as one of the finest drummers in rock, and with the addition of second guitarist Erik Rutan, the resulting effect brings a four dimensional sound to completion. It is nothing less than an unstoppable organic machine, driven by an unquenchable will. Morbid Angel is the cutting edge in a field now infamous for its remorseless lacerative assult. The wounds they inflict may never heal.
