Everything formed in 1990 on the campus of James Madison University.

In 1991 Everything recorded and released their first full length cd titled Play. The album was recorded on the campus of JMU.

In 1992 Everything recorded and released their second CD Solid. The album was a mix of studio and live tracks recorded in and around the DC area.

In the fall of 1992 Everything relocated to a remote farm in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. The band committed to a rigorous tour schedule of 200 plus shows a year and began to expand their tour base beyond the Middle Atlantic.

In 1993 Everything formed Full Tube Records and recorded their third album titled Labrador. The album was recorded on the Everything farm and was produced by John Alagia.

In 1994 Labrador was picked up by Capricorn Records and released nationwide.

In the Fall and Winter of 1994 Everything embarked on their first national and international club tour supporting the Dave Matthews Band.

In 1995 Everything gained notoriety by becoming one of the first bands to use the Internet to broadcast their performances.

In 1996 Everything released a self titled album of live material recorded by John Alagia at the legendary Bayou in Washington DC. The album was nominated by N.A.R.A.S. for Best Rock Album of 1996.

In 1997 Everything signed a recording contract with Blackbird/Sire Records and recorded their fifth album Super Natural. The album was produced by Jim Ebert.

Super Natural was released on March 10 1998. Within weeks Everything received national recognition with their first single Hooch.

In May 1998 MTV debuted the Hooch video.

In the Summer of 1998 Super Natural was released internationally.

On June 22 1998 Everything appeared on the cover of Pollstar.

In the Fall of 1998 Hooch was featured in the Adam Sandler movie The Water boy.

in january 1999 everything performed at super bowl xxxiii in miami as part of the nfl experience. In May 1999 Everything performed Hooch live on the Rosie O Donnell Show.

By 2000 Super Natural had sold over 300000 units.

In 2000 Everything recorded and shared in the production of their sixth album.

In the Spring of 2001 Everything performed throughout the South Pacific and Asia supporting the USO.

On August 28 2001 Everything released their new CD People Are Moving on Full Tube/What Are Records.
