Ellen Cleghorne
Saturday Night Live was just the beginning of a long and successful television career. Ellen left SNL for her own sitcom, Cleghorne. Ellen has also appeared on WB�s Parenthood, ABC�s C-16 and FOX�s In Living Color. Behind the camera she enjoyed great success as head writer for The Roseanne Show. Ellen has made a name for herself as one of the top women working in comedy today. She has toured throughout the country and in Europe, appearing in London on the BBC Television Network. Ellen has made numerous television appearances including The Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O�Brian and Def Comedy Jam. Cleghorne has made her mark on the film industry making over a dozen major motion pictures. Ellen was first featured in Nora Ephron�s This is My Life and has had featured roles in Mr. Wrong, Armageddon, Little Nicky, Coyote Ugly, McArthur Park, Kingdom Come, Dear God, and Million Dollar Hotel. Today Ellen continues to thrive in the movie industry with several films to be released later this year. An accomplished thespian, Ellen has appeared in several theatre productions. Critics received her appearance at the Joseph Papp�s Public Theatre in Insurrection: Holding History, to great reviews. Her one-woman show Behind Funny first premiered in Los Angeles at the HBO Workspace and then played in New York in the Fall of 2002. Most recently Ellen stared in the Vagina Monologues in Los Angeles. Ellen�s career has spanned the world, from her meek beginnings in Brooklyn to living rooms across the country. Ellen continues to make her audiences roar with laughter on screen, on stage and on television.
