Dane Cook, born and raised in Boston first started his career doing sketch comedy. Within two years he went solo, performing stand-up at the local comedy clubs in Massachusetts. After fine tuning his act in the New England circuit Dane decided to make the big move to New York City.

During his first year in the Big Apple Dane signed a deal with ABC, becoming an overnight success. His first national appearance was on ABC's sitcom, "Maybe This Time." That same year Dane earned a cameo in Rene Russo's film, "Buddy."

Just after a year in New York, Dane went to Los Angeles where he signed another deal, however, this time with NBC and appeared on their hit show, "Suddenly Susan." He recently filmed a movie entitled "Fly Paper," and is working on a short film which he wrote, directs, and stars in, called "Final Hour."

His other television credits include the Late Show with David Letterman, (2x), Comedy Central's, Premium Blend, Showtime, and Comic Relief.
