He began his television and film career in his hometown of Philadelphia in the 1980's, where he performed characters for the local Saturday Night Dead on KYW-TV, and garnered two National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences' Emmy Awards for video shorts he wrote, starred in and produced. He performed the lead role in the musical Funny Business, at the Mark Taper Forum and at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. While performing his standup as an opening act to Kenny Loggins' yearlong national tour, a backup singer fell ill and Craig filled in, singing bass for a two week run on Broadway. Other musical highlights include singing the national anthem at the Oakland Coliseum and Dodger Stadium.

Craig was named Male Comedian of the Year by the American Comedy Awards, and has recorded two successful comedy CDs, and performed at every major comedy club in the country. He's often heard on most major national and local radio shows, and has appeared in over 100 television shows - including HBO's Comic Relief, as a frequent guest on The Hollywood Squares, and he guest starred on The Hughleys.

Craig was one of the leads in the feature film Safe House with Patrick Stewart and Kimberly Williams. He also played the teacher in the box office smash Scream 2 with Neve Campbell. Craig also co-produced, wrote and starred in the 1998 feature, The Lovemaster, which subsequently won the Independent Film Festival Best Picture Award in Los Angeles.

Recently, Craig embarked on his first venture into the arena of the one-man show with Who's Your Daddy? - a theatrical piece he also wrote and produced. The show played to sold-out crowds at the famous Coronet Theatre in West Hollywood, and received rave reviews in the press.
