Ernie Islas is an up and coming stand up comedian with a comedy style cross between George Lopez and the late great Patrice O’Neal. Born in East Los Angeles, on September 23rd of 1988, L.A is where Ernie was raised as well. Psychiatric Nursing is the field he works in where he’s made countless mental health patients laugh. After, a decade of studying the craft of stand up comedy but procrastinating to perform, comedian (aka “Too Much”) Ernie Islas finally began performing stand up comedy once the pandemic commenced in 2020 with a “It’s Now or Never” yet eager approaching. Although he’s basically in his freshman year of performing stand up comedy he’s worked on a couple of TV commercials and landed a Co Starring role in an independent comedy film in 2008 making him no stranger to performing and the business.
