D.cox is a Gospel/R&B/Adult Contemporary artist that has been singing since 1984 and living through music sine 2004. In 2004 D.Cox became a member of a group called Seduction in which they released their hit single "Someday". They performed in various cities including Longview, TX , Beaumont, TX and in Gilliam, LA just to name a few. In 2009 D.Cox and another member from Seduction became a duo named Playa Podnas. Playa Podnas was a household name in the East Texas area. Playa Podnas were the opening act for National Recording Artist's Boyz II Men on October 3, 2009 in Tyler, TX, at the Oil Palace. Playa Podnas also performed in various cities including Dallas, TX. After being a member of Playa Podnas the duo ventured off to themselves and D.Cox is now one of the best soloist's around. D.Cox has performed at many venues , in many cities including Longview, TX, Shreveport, LA, Lake Charles, LA, Memphis, TN, Dallas, TX, and Houston, TX just to name a few. D.Cox has been booked for many evens such as weddings, anniversaries, parties , etc.

D.Cox is currently pushing his debut single One Life Stand(Girl I Need You ) which is playing on Hot 107.3 JAMZin Tyler, TX WGCI in Chicago, various Kiss FM stations and also Kint 98 in El Paso, TX(online). D.Cox has sung along side of Chalie Boy, Boyz II Men, Men At Large, Rude Boys, Z-Ro, Big Hawk(RIP), Lil Flip, Betty Wrights guitarist Ron Johnson, Johnny Taylor's trumpet player Dirty Red and many many more. D.Cox is also a great cover song singer and on May 15, 2010 D.Cox sung his rendition of the National Anthem for the Shreveport Battlewings Homecoming game against the Tampa Bay Storm. There was an attendance of 4,784 there and more on 95.7 FM and niftytv.com. D.Cox also premiered with the Dallas Black Dance Theatre March 20,2010 and has various concerts and shows coming up. In conclusion D.Cox is bringing great music back to the forefront keeping God first every step of the way! Oh and did I forget to mention the ladies Love him!!
