With the June 2007 release of “Bud, Sweat, & Beers approaching Taco and Da Mofos eagerly look forward to getting back out on the road. Da Mofos have been in Joseph Montgomery’s Rodeo Studios in Jackson for several months recording their upcoming release. The album will feature Taco and Da Mofos signature “feel good sound” and include special guests Lil White and Muck Sticky on various tracks. The energy and creativity of these sessions goes beyond anything Da Mofos could have ever dreamed of. Bud, Sweat and Beers promises to be one of if not the best album of 2007. Taco and Da Mofos have been likened to such legendary artists as Bob Marley and the Wailers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, 311 and Sublime. Recently Da Mofos had the honor of sharing the stage with Ziggy Marley and the Wailers. They have also had the privilege of sharing the stage with other greats such as Def Leppard and Vivian Campbell just to name a few. With influences from rock, rap, and reggae and an energetic live show, Taco & Da Mofos have established themselves as "Your Good Time Band". Taco & Da Mofos have played shows all across Tennessee and the southeast since 2000. The band consists of Robert Moore aka Taco, Chris "Keela" Case, Charlie Eaves, Shannon Harris and Reverend Carter. Taco & Da Mofos entered 747 Studios in late 2005 with Skid Mills engineering and producing to record "Late Nite Bump Stars". Working with Skid (ZZ Top, Saliva, Hole, Robert Cray, 3 Doors Down, and many others) was a dream come true. With the release of "Late Nite Bump Stars" in early 2006 the band began to tour extensively in support of the CD and to spread their positive vibe.
Taco and Da Mofos would like to thank all of the DJ’s, venues and of course their loyal for all of their love and support and they cant wait to see you all again very soon!
