Adele began studying voice at a young age and quickly developed a passion for Opera. Her formal training began at Queen’s University Belfast where she studied under the wonderful Irish Soprano Angela Feeney. She has performed in many operas and operettas around the country including appearances with Opera Brava, The Welsh National Opera and also Youth Opera Northern Ireland. Her most well known title roles include Adele (Die Fledermaus)and Yum Yum (The Mikado). Adele has also performed the soprano solos for several Oratorios, including Handel’s Messiah and Rutter’s Requiem. Whilst working with the Welsh National Opera she had the opportunity of working under the musical direction of Tim Rhys Evans (BBC’s Last Choir Standing) and Miriam Bowen a leading Soprano with the company. Adele regularly gives recitals around the UK and Ireland and has a vast repertoire with which to engage any audience. Adele completed her Associate Diploma with Trinity College London in 2002 and her Licentiate in June this year she also holds a Diploma in Musical Theatre performance.
