Hailing from the great state of Oklahoma, Cindy Cornelsen has traveled all over the country entertaining audiences of all shapes and sizes. Recently she performed in Calgary's "Funny Fest". Television appearances include “Surviving the Holidays with Lewis Black” on the History Channel, Comcast OnDemand’s "Open Mic"**, and "Comedy Time TV" in Los Angeles. Stand up appearances include several L.A. comedy venues including The Comedy Store, The Ice House, The Talk Show and the West Side Eclectic Theater. Cindy toured nationwide and her comedy has been featured in over 14 states including The Broadway Comedy Club in New York City, Mottley’s Comedy Club in Boston, MA, The Improv and Zanies in Chicago and Crackers Comedy Club in Indianapolis. Recently, Cindy was a guest on Sirius Radio’s “Getting Late” as well as a regular commentator on Chicago’s Vocalo.org. She has become quite well known for her original comedic songs and the dark, intelligent point of view in her stand up sets. A trained actress with an operatic singing voice, Cindy takes her audience for an ethereal musical-theater ride, roving from childhood awkwardness to politics and eventually bouncing into the misadventures of modern co-ed encounters. Cindy studied Improv and Sketch Writing at the Second City, and was a core writer of the sketch revue "Someone Get A Grownup" which premiered at Donny's Skybox Theatre.
