CHUCK'S BIO:

Even though Chuck Gatlin isn’t kin to country music legend the Gatlin Brothers, he has a legendary sound and is one of the rising young talents in the country music industry. His natural talent as a singer and songwriter is one reason that longtime country music industry road manager, Tommy Foote says, “what you hear is what you get with Chuck! He has extraordinary talent.”

Chuck’s love for country music began at an early age. In fact, his first stage was his living room and his audience was anyone who would watch. He even had his own critics…his two older brothers and all the kids in the neighborhood. Over the years, the stages and audiences have certainly grown as he has sold out venues and gained grassroots support in the local music circuits. It was that kind of grassroot support that brought Chuck and family to Nashville in 2002. Since that time, he has wowed audiences as he has opened shows for Dierks Bentley, Pin Monkey, Chris Cagle, the Warren Brothers, and Mark Wills. He has also shared the stage with number one hit songwriters such as Dana Hunt Black, A.J. Masters and James Slater.

Another songwriter shares more than his love of country music with Chuck…he shares a common hometown. Charlie Rich, Jr. has been around country music all his life and has become a fan as well. “Country music needs Chuck Gatlin. He has a great range in his voice, a smooth delivery, and natural ability to entertain his audiences, says Rich. Recently, Chuck has been working on a demo project, which features his songwriting ability. Gone Away is a potential hit song says several music critics! Will Mitchell, “what a voice! I truly believe in this young man.”

Chuck is a hometown boy with a unique sound and his success has come the old fashioned way…by earning his praise and paying his dues. He is community minded, well grounded, and is a fresh new presence in the country music industry.
