This project was put together with the intention of bringing my Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimi Hendrix to the forefront. I accent this with blues(B.B. King, Robert Cray, The Blues Brothers, Robert Johnson, Eric Clapton, Howling Wolf, etc.) and variety(Pink Floyd, Prince, The Temptations, Willie Nelson, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Dylan, Keith Urban, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, etc.). I also play originals from my many recording projects. It took me a year to build my set list to start playing live. I go into my home studio and program my drums and record my bass lines. I also add(when it's needed) any keyboards and rhtym guitars. When you add the lightshow and showmanship, the act is quite unique to watch and listen to. Now, the main focus of the music is lead guitar. The blues are a great way to accent that aspect of the music. In conclusion, The Strat & The Hat is a heart and soul blues guitarist who gives %110.
